Nerve conduction speed (NCV) is a test to perceive how quick electrical signs travel through a nerve. This test is done along with electromyography (EMG) to survey the muscles for abnormalities. Adhesive patches called surface terminals are put on the skin over nerves or muscles at various spots. An exceptionally gentle electrical drive is applied by means of different patches or a handheld trigger to animate the nerve. The subsequent electrical action of the nerve is recorded by the terminals.
